Artist Statement
Somewhere between standard and nonlinear time we schedule ourselves.
Somewhere between our genealogy and our environments, we find ourselves.
As we collect these different parts of ourselves, we come across identifiable markers which reflect our own individual “disconnect.”
Creating a painting which expresses this through the use of symbolism is what I try to accomplish through my work.
