Fused Glass

Although a more utilitarian manifestation of art from candle holders, plates, to jewelry; it still holds true to the expressionism and symbolism. In a more 3 dimensional abstract unity it takes on some of the same attributes as the paintings but in a different approach. Some pieces do not conform to a specific space but instead “flow-over” as if to escape its confined space and penetrate into its surrounding environment. Other pieces including jewelry change in color due to light refractions and at the same instance other colors lye dormant in the shadows.

fusedglassCommissioned piece: Stephen Dabrowski was tasked to create a large piece that resembled his jewelry pendants. He achieved this by using a 3 layer technique to give it a true 3 dimensional view and to allow light to change the effect of the glass.
